Vintage Portuguese Grape Harvest Log Basket – D

An original hand woven basket used for transporting the harvested green grapes for vinho verde or red grapes for port ready for shipping. It is made from a heavy weave designed to withstand the heavy use of grape harvesting. It would make an ideal log, laundry or storage basket. The basket still retains its original red marking on the sides to identify the vineyard.
